Bursaries for Early Career Researchers 

ASAL is providing up to four (4) bursaries to support Early Career Researchers to attend the conference.

The bursaries are worth $750 each, and are intended to support the successful applicants’ accommodation in and travel to Hobart. Applicants will need to register with the conference at the Postgraduate rate.

Applicants should:

  1. Provide a cover letter, a description of their current project, and a short rationale to explain how attendance at the conference will contribute to their work
  2. Indicate the stage of their project, ASAL membership status, and opportunities for institutional support (if applicable)
  3. Send their application to Dr Robert Clarke at (ASAL2022@utas.edu.au) by 5pm 29 April 2022 with the subject line “ASAL2022 ECR Bursary Application”

Preference will be given to applicants whose papers have been accepted for the conference program.
